KATHMANDU, Nov 27 - The weather has been improving since Saturday due to the influence of western winds. The weather will be clear across the country from Saturday as the influence of the westerly winds will gradually subside from tonight. Meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar said that there is little possibility of rain as the system has already started moving out of the western part of the country. As the weather clears, temperatures will continue to drop. It is said that the cold will increase due to the sky being open without clouds and northwesterly winds blowing. Currently, there is partial to normal cloud cover in most parts of the country, Provinces No. 1 and 2, Bagmati and Gandaki. In Provinces No. 1 and 2, Bagmati and Gandaki, there will be partial to moderate cloud cover and light rain is likely in one or two places of hilly areas. The weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country. According to the latest details of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today is 8.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 22.6 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the minimum temperature of Jumla is minus 0.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature of Janakpur is 15.2 degrees Celsius.
