The deceased has been identified as Nagendra Kumar Singh of Manara Municipality-1, Mahottari.
The accident took place at 8 pm. According to the District Police Office, Sarlahi, Singh succumbed to his injuries while being brought to Lalbandi for treatment. Police have taken the bus and its driver under control after the accident. Further investigation into the incident has been started, police said.
