December 16, 2020 : The revised schedule for the inaugural ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup on March 4 has been made public. The tournament will be held in New Zealand in 2022. The inaugural match will be played on March 4, according to the ICC. The first match will be between New Zealand and the qualifiers. The final game will be a day night match on April 3. The game will also be held in Christchurch.
Eight teams will participate in the 2022 Women’s World Cup. The game will be played in six cities in New Zealand. New Zealand, Australia, England, South Africa and India have already been selected for the World Cup. Now three teams have to come from the qualifiers. The qualifiers will be played in Sri Lanka from June 26 to July 10.
