The report presented by Chairman Oli at a meeting of the secretariat held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Saturday has been distributed to the members of the secretariat. After studying the proposal, the next meeting will be held at the party’s central office in Dhumbarahi on December 3 at 1 pm, said spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha.

In the report, Prime Minister Oli has challenged Chairman Prachanda to confirm the allegations against him. “My challenge to you is to confirm the allegations and take action against me in accordance with state law and party constitution, or be prepared to be held accountable for the audacity of breaking party unity by making baseless allegations against your own comrades-in-arms.”
Prime Minister Oli has termed the political proposal presented by Chairman Prachanda as an ‘indictment’. “Your ‘proposal’ is not really a political proposal, it is an ‘indictment’ against your own comrade-in-arms, and by putting it forward you have made an unofficial announcement of a split in the party,” Oli said.
Prime Minister Oli has claimed that Chairman Prachanda’s proposal was not even received. “This ‘proposal’ is just a bundle of artificial accusations of not meeting or discussing in the meeting, your very personal dissatisfaction, boundless frustration and hidden vested interests.”
