MESSI’S TWO GOALS IN BARCELONA’S VICTORY

With the help of two goals from captain Lionel Messi and one from Pedri, Catalan club Barcelona has pulled off an exciting victory over Atletico Bilbao in Spanish La Liga.

Inaki Williams scored in the third minute of the game at home to give Bilbao the lead. Pedri equalized for Barcelona in the 14th minute.

Messi scored in the 38th minute to give Barcelona a 2-1 lead in the first half. Messi scored his second individual goal in the 62nd minute to give Barcelona a 3-1 lead.

In the 90th minute, Iker Munien scored the second goal for Bilbao but it was not enough to defeat.

With this victory, Barcelona has risen to third place by adding 31 points from 17 games.

Barcelona are seven points behind leaders Atletico Madrid and five behind second-placed Real Madrid.

Atletico have played two more games. Defeated Bilbao is in ninth place with 21 points.
