An impression of how the project could look. The proposal was inspired by the architect Stefano Boeri

A father whose unborn baby died as a result of the Grenfell disaster wants to turn the ruins of the 24-storey tower into a high-rise garden.

Today is the fourth anniversary of the fire that killed 72 residents in Kensington, west London. Marcio Gomes, 41, whose son Logan was stillborn because of the toxic smoke, proposes converting the tower into a garden. His plan is supported by the Grenfell Next of Kin group, which represents the relatives of 31 of the victims.
